CANON POWER SHOT SX150IS REVIEW

August 6, 2013
I'm not sure if I already told you about my new camera, but I know for a fact I haven't done a review yet. In July, I had the chance to really rest it out on many different occasions and my personal "fazit" is that I am really happy with it.

Until a couple of weeks ago, I was using the EOS Canon Rebel T1i, which is reffered to as "Canon 500D" here in Europe. But since I broke my lens (stupid idiot), it only works on manual focus, which I can't be using all the time. Instead of getting a new lens just yet, I decided to buy a new bridge camera. For those who don't know, it's something between a reflex camera and a normal digital one. Here are some basic facts about it:

12× optical zoom, 28mm, intelligent picture stabilisator. 14,1 megapixel.
The display is 7,5 cm.

It has the typical functions of a reflex camera: M (Manual Exposure), Tv (Shutter priority AE - time value), Av (Aperture-priority) and P (shutter speed and aperture = exposure  automatic), and also some other regimes: automatic, easy mode, portrait, special effects (fish-eye, miniature, toy camera, monochrome, super vivid, poster effect, color accent & color swap), discreet (no sounds whatsoever) and it shoots videos.

I think it's the perfect camera for a blogger who's always on the go like me. I really like playing with the special effects even though I edit my pictures in photoshop quite often. My favorite is the toy camera effect

So if you were thinking about getting a new camera, the Canon Power Shot might just be the perfect choice! I bought mine from Amazon for about 150€.

Hope you liked my review.
Love, Petush ♥
